Francois Pachet, the “Beethoven of A.I.,” to debut Spotify’s first album composed by A.I. TechnoArt LIVE 2019

 

  • TechnoArt announces its keynote speaker, Francois Pachet, for its annual conference on November 10th, 2019 at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Pachet will be debuting Spotify’s first album composed entirely by A.I. 

  • Pachet, an admired innovator in music technology, interaction, and creation, is the former director of Sony-CSL and current director of Spotify’s Creator Research Technology Lab in Paris. He will lead discussion about music and creativity as they develop alongside data science and A.I.

TechnoArt LIVE, the leading technology conference of its kind, has announced its keynote speaker for the annual conference taking place on November 10th, 2019, at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. Francois Pachet, also known as the “Beethoven of A.I.,” will be kicking off the conference as he debuts Spotify’s first album composed entirely by A.I. Following this will be a groundbreaking discussion involving the industries of music and creativity as they develop alongside the industries of data science and AI.

For over twenty years, Francois has been bridging the gap between the worlds of science and creativity, engaging in research activity concerning music and AI. In 2014 he was appointed director of Sony-CSL, where he and his team established around thirty-five patents in the realm of music technology, interaction, and feature extraction. Now, as the director of Spotify’s Creator Research Technology Lab in Paris, he leads several exciting new projects focused on developing tools for assisting music creation.
